Dow Rummel Village is situated on 13.2 acres adjacent to picturesque Covell Lake and Terrace Park. Dow Rummel is a nonprofit corporation sponsored by the South Dakota Conference of the United Church of Christ, Calvary Cathedral (Episcopal), and the Church of the Good Shepherd but welcomes all denominations. Freedom and privacy are priorities at Dow Rummel Village. All our apartments are designed for maximum privacy and residents are free to travel or entertain at their convenience . . . knowing that Dow Rummel will maintain the beauty and security of their home.

A Christian attitude is a very important aspect of life at Dow Rummel. We have the most caring and positive staff and residents here. Dow Rummel Village truly cares for the well-being of the residents that live here, and we always put the residents' needs first. Whatever your faith may be, you are welcome. Family, friends, and children are encouraged to visit.
Nursing care is available 24 hours a day through the Eva Allen Health Care Center. The health care center provides long-term nursing care for residents who live at Dow Rummel. Residential, apartment, and cottage residents are eligible for five free days of care a year (noncumulative) through the center.
