Brenda Frevik is a seasoned professional with a background in social work and disability advocacy. Retired as a disability examiner/hearing officer for the Social Security Disability program in South Dakota and as a social worker at the Flandreau Indian School, she has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to serving others. A proud graduate of Augustana College, she holds a license in social work.
Her dedication extends beyond her professional career, as evidenced by her involvement on multiple boards for organizations such as the National Advisory Board for the WIC program, Interlakes Community Action Center, Center for Disability, The Haven, and the local Girl Scout Service Unit.
Residing in Dell Rapids alongside her husband, Alan, they have three adult children and two grandchildren. Brenda enjoys gardening with the local garden club and spending time camping with her family.
