We are excited to be a part of the Sioux Falls community and have appreciated the coverage we have received from the area news. Below are the articles that have been written about our expansion project
Being first feels familiar to Dow Rummel Village. Since it opened as Sioux Falls’ initial retirement community in 1963, Dow Rummel was first to offer on-campus twin-home cottages and independent-living apartments in the city.
It also was first to install a swimming pool and wellness center, and to establish a Main Street, where residents can buy necessities and have their hair styled.
A Sioux Falls retirement community is trying to get ahead of an Alzheimer's epidemic among the baby boom generation with a $40 million expansion that will beef up its memory care and assisted living services.
A groundbreaking ceremony and capital campaign kickoff event is being planned at Dow Rummel Village on Tuesday, May
23 at 11:30 a.m. for 60 new memory care and assisted living apartments.
Our beautiful new Gathering Hall has been completed and has been used for numerous meetings and activities. This important addition to our Chapel area will host residents and families, staff and community events for years to come.
Work continues on our new Memory Care and Assisted Living facility, which is expected to open towards the end of 2018.
Please contact us at 336-1490 for information on our new facilities and services, or to tour our campus.
